Freestyle about today's rap game
« on: August 25, 2006, 02:24:46 AM »
What's a change? Change is when thangz no longer the same/
When you ain't feelin the same feelings when them songs playin/
When they ain't sayin the same thangz they used to be sayin/
In those songs anyways, I drop an example so you can be understandin/
Today's these rappers be all talkin the same thangz mainly/
Talking bout gettin that money, even though most of us ain't got any/
Or talkin about some bitches, degradin women on the daily/
Compare any Ludacris track, play it back from A down to Z/
And compare it to Mr. Cheeks narratives about his shorty named "Renea"/
Right away, you'll know that this game ain't the fuckin same no more/
Thangz change, how they bang, life just ain't the same/
Naw mean, yo, rappers used to respect something conscious/
But today they couldn't even pick up on it even if you dropped it/
Just a quick freestyle telling ya'll how I feel off the top kid/
Givin' respect to 2pac September 7th-13th The Day Hip-Hop Died

(btw, Earth 🌎 is not a spinning water ball)
