No, Vladimir isn;t a solid fielder.  He's below average.

yeah he is a monster.  I was at a giants game this year where I watched him hit a bomb in dead center.  Its too hard to predict anything.  The only way to break any records in baseball these days is if you don't get injured.  I personally don't think records in baseball can be broken without steriods, and now they are really trying to crack down, so I don't think he would ever break any records.  The only record I see being broken without a player taking roids is the hitting streak, but I doubt that would ever be broken.
