i have infernal affairs (everybody needs to stop calling it internal affairs)...i haven't watched it yet but i've been planning on it...from what i've heard its almost exactly the same...but with asians

The plot twists in the film isn't what makes the film great, it's the theme and the character development in the movie that makes it really good.  I haven't seen IA, but from what my friend told me The Departed really improves the original's theme and character development.  I really want to see IA though.

i saw infernal affairs a few weeks ago, pretty amazing movie, havn't seen departed yet, BUT i'm going to be waiting in line like  a star wars fan when it comes out.....anyone know when it's going to drop?

Oh yeah, and for those people that cannot wait you might be able to catch it again this upcoming weekend.  It's getting re-released this weekend to cash in its Oscar nominations.
