LOL, remember when Kobe got busted for flossin that hotel janitor's buttcrack, and then snitched on Shaq?  He could score 150 points in one game and it'll never erase that.

He never snitched on Shaq, he supposedly said "I shoulda done what Shaq does and paid my women hush money"...The whole thing was blown out of proportion, nothing nearly as shady as Shaq's treatment towards Kobe and the Laker organization over the years...

Just wanted to say LMFAO@Big Jake for naming Eddie Jones as someone to ask if Shaq is a team player...People know what I think about Shaq. Dude is a big child who wants all the spotlight on him and has a lot of jealousy issues...You can't argue that, and you can't argue that Kobe showed a lot of patience and maturity beyond his years with Shaq when Shaq was acting like a little kid...PeACe

Quote a time where Eddie Jones had beef with Shaq.  For all us non Laker fans, the only time I heard Eddie Jones had beef was with Kobe.

Read some Laker books and then get back at me...

when did eddie jones become a shaq hater, last time i checked he said his best years were in los angeles playing with shaq and when four of the lakers made the all star team

LMAO! Boy, you're informed, aren't you? Shaq got Eddie traded not once, but TWICE. :-X

yeah the first time was to get your boy kobe in his possition   and to get a 3 point specialist  out on the peremeter so shaq could kick it out there when he got triple teamed down low, like in orlando with dennis scott

the second time he got traded it was more of an aging thing, he wasn't the same player as he used to be and he disappeared in clutch situations, remember? you can't keep a player if he's not showing up when you need him. when wade went down two years ago in the eastern conference finals everyone was expecting eddie to come through like he did with the lakers , but he just disappeared. again you can't keep a player who is unable to be there for you.

each time it was just business, nothing was personal. show me an article in which shaq is bashed by eddie jones  or eddie jones showed displeasure with playing with shaq, and visa versa.

^when exactly did eddie jones have "beef" with kobe

shaq has had problems with: penny hardaway, nick van excel, kobe, dennis rodman, text winters, and those are just the teammates he's had problems with. let's not forget barkley, vlade, and e.dampier.

wow someone who claims to be a laker fan and can't even spell van exel or tex winter right....anything you say will hold less weight now.

like shaq said in the interview he views his relationships with penny, kobe, and wade like the godfather. penny was fredo, kobe was sonny, and wade was michael. he had beef with penny because he wasn't living up to what he could be but was trying to be a superstar, that's why he left for the lakers , he couldn't see himself winning a championship with him. nick van exel had beef with a lot if not all the lakers when he got traded, but with that said him and shaq always got along more so than not before and after he got traded.  before rodman went to the lakers him and shaq didn't like each other but when he joined the lakers they got along fine.

-and so what about barkley he was never a team mate....but now that's all barkley does is kiss shaq's ass
-vlade, again so what he was never a teamate of his he was the rival on the kings....that one should go without saying, also in a playoff game when kobe got fouled hard by vlade shaq stood up for kobe
-e. dampier, lol again is he a teammate of shaq's?

i dont give a fuck how they spell their names.

i know the last 3 were never his teammates, thats why i ended the first list with "and those are just the teammates he's had problems with".

you're way off on a lot of those. shaq called e.dampier out for no reason. he was singing songs about vlade and calling his team the sacramento queens. phil said it himself that shaq was close to "punching dennis rodman in the face".

shaq's problem with penny was the same as his problem with kobe - he too jealous to let anyone else get in the spotlight.

First of all, whatever information was disclosed was supposed to remain confidential, and who even knows what Kobe really said in an INTERROGATION? Doesn't really matter, shit was fabricated. Shaq destroyed Penny Hardaway and Eddie Jones and he tried doing the same with Kobe, only Kobe was too strong...Read Tex Winter's book, Mark Heislers "Madmen's Ball" as well...Shaq never liked Eddie Jones, Shaq had him traded twice because he refused to co-exist with him...He tried doing the same to Penny and Kobe, he's a selfish childish asshole...Think about it, Shaq never had his own team...It was always Shaq & Penny's Magic, Kobe & Shaq's Lakers, Wade & Shaq's Heat...With Michael Jordan, it was never Jordan & Pippen's Bulls, it was Jordan's Bulls...With the Spurs, it was not Duncan's & Ginobli's or Duncan & Parker's Spurs, it was Duncan's Spurs...Hakeem's Rockets  Bird's Celtic's, and so forth...Shaq always has placed his individual accomplishments before his team accomplishments, he's admited this, he would break up a golden dynasty just to look good. Dude's a selfish asshole, and how you can support this guy and still consider yourself a Laker fan is beyond me...PeACe

like i said, if you claim to be a laker fan and can't even spell or get their names right, what you have to say hold no weight in an argument

do you want to talk about the players KOBE has had problems with? every player has problems with other players, and i think it's safe to say that KOBE has more problems with former team mates than shaq has which is ...kobe and penny c'mon now, notice how many players from the lakers left after shaq left. cooincidence? c'mon now downing shaq for dissing the KINGS....that right there says how desperate you are to downgrade the dude, EVERYONE was dissing them, i don't know if you noticed this (propbably not since you you think we spread sheet program playing point gaurd and two assitant coaches named tex winter) but the kings were and are the lakers' biggest rivals especially at the time of those comments, and vlade divac was a bitch who flopped to get fouls to get advantages in games, no REAL man plays BITCH like that, only a queen.

why is kobe appologizing for making those comments then?

Quote
Shaq destroyed Penny Hardaway and Eddie Jones

penny had the best years of his career under shaq's leadership, fact , shaq makes players better. why was it then after shaq left the magic penny's numbers and play fell? and if shaq "ruined eddie jones, how come he had his best season in charlotte? again the lakers traded eddie jones to make your idol a starter. glen rice was put in place to knock down threes when shaq was being triple teamed down low, why do you think mitch richmond played for the lakers, why do you think the lakers aquired robert horry in the first place? everything was put in place to build around and complement shaq, cuz after all the lakers were SHAQ"S team.

Quote
and he tried doing the same with Kobe, only Kobe was too strong...
so shaq should have kneeled down to kobe ? riiiight kobe's just BARELY learning how to pass and get his teammates involved, he's just barely beginning to become a leader. Shaq was in his prime, and kobe was trying to be the leader, Shaq's going to win that leadership battle especially in the triangle offense which was built to have a dominant big man in the middle. kobe is the best player all around, i'll admit that and has been for a while , but you can't deny he's more selfish than shaq, who was already making players around him better before kobe even heard of the concept . shaq wasn't trying to get rid of kobe until kobe started getting a big head. say what you want but shaq's leadership and experience is more valuable to a team than kobe's PPG. How many teams has shaq been the leader of? How many of them went to the finals? how many of them has he won a championship with? this goes back to resumes. a shaq team has  only missed the playoffs ONE time (his rookie season)

Quote
Think about it, Shaq never had his own team...It was always Shaq & Penny's Magic, Kobe & Shaq's Lakers, Wade & Shaq's Heat...With Michael Jordan, it was never Jordan & Pippen's Bulls, it was Jordan's Bulls...With the Spurs, it was not Duncan's & Ginobli's or Duncan & Parker's Spurs, it was Duncan's Spurs...Hakeem's Rockets  Bird's Celtic's, and so forth...

let's see michael jordan had scottie pippen and dennis rodman, another top 50 players of all time and the nba's greatest rebounders. it was always jordan and pippen and then in the mid 90's it became superman batman and rodman.  and i know this was before your time but he also  had john paxson who was one of the leagues best role players ,probably in history, jordan didn't do it by himself either. oh yeah and he didn't start winning either til he had phil jackson

let's see duncan had david robinson, no? the TWIN TOWERS, for two of those championships, lol  his 3rd he didn't win by himself neither, he had like you said ginobli, parker, bowen , ect.

hakeem, wait a minute didn't he have clyde drexler with him? and also he had sam cassel , otis thorpe, vernon maxwell, kenny smith, mario ellie, and robert horry, he didn't exactly do it by himself neither

birds celtics? pete maravich, kevin mchale, nate archibald, robert parish, danny ainge, dennis johnson, bill walton he never did it by himself either, in fact the celtics were always refered by the bird mchale celtics.

it would help if you supported this with quotes

here's some eddie jones quotes by the way :

Quote
Question: You've had Shaq on your team before. How much easier is it with Shaq than without Shaq?

Eddie Jones: We love to have him. He creates so much for us offensively. Defensively, he gives us opportunities to be more aggressive defensively. Offensively, he creates havok, and gets you open shots. If we can keep him healthy for 82 games, that would be great.

Question: Fans in Miami are obviously excited about having Shaq on the team.

Eddie Jones: Shaquille O'Neal, probably the best player on the planet. When you acquire someone of that magnitude, people are going to come. He's larger than life. Anybody can walk in a building, but when he walks in you notice him.

Question: Have you noticed more community support for the team this season?

Eddie Jones: It's huge. We have definitely crossed that bridge of not having many sellings to acquiring Shaq and everybody in the city speaking about him. It all boils down to what Shaq does. He creates the atmosphere. He's larger than life. He's the biggest guy in this league, the best player in this league, and he's going to create that kind of atmosphere.

Question: Compare Shaq of today with Shaq when you played with him years ago.

Eddie Jones: I don't think he has the athletic ability he had back then. When you get older, you're going to lose something. But he still demands the double-team. When a guy continues to demand a double-team, you can't say anything negative.

I love how idiots try to make it look like Penny fell off because Shaq left. I guess the injuries and arthritis in his knee had nothing to do with that.

Look at Penny's stats after Shaq left. He was still averaging 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assist, and 1 steall. He was just playing less games due to injuries. After that, he was never the same.

I think the trade in the long run will help the Lakers. Especially if Shaq continues to play the way he has been playing. It was a bitter situation and it was best that both went their separate ways. I know when the Lakers were winning championship nobody was complaining. Miami is a OLD team and once Alonzo n Shaq go, this is going to be a lottery team. Then Wade is really going to have to be superman. Lakers are very young and give them some time, add 1 or 2 role players and they will be in good shape.
