Simon - it all starts out on an empty stage
all i see is someone i saw on TV the other day
I get in a rage, i invade the stage

all he does is use it for money, in other words abuse it
sometimes i lose it, pull out my hair, thinking i should OD on pills
when i see these pretenders try to be real, but they have no skill

If you want progression from this disease, just channel your aggression with ease
try listening to underground emcees at least they attempt to please
Cannibal Ox, Cannibus, Sage Francis and Apathy
or you can go to the extreme and try battling
battle emcees who are weak at rapping
and destroy them for entering your craft and start adapting

Simon - Battling rarely appeses my appatite to murk everything in sight
I hold the mic tight because it's been there through all off life's gripes
