^ erm with certain players yeh, but ive always been pretty good at scoring free kicks so im always quiet confident @ netting them..

Yeah I've always been good at them too but I seem to have a problem when it comes to generating enough power necessary.

how long do u hold the power meter when the kick is just outside the box? (xbox 360 version) i can never get it right...it seems like even if i hold it till the 1/4th mark or the 3/4th mark...it seems to miss the gol by the same distance...whats the ratonale behind it....i also hold the right shoulder button (assume its used to get the ball to dip like on the PS2)

its hard to xplain, i always set a letter in the free kick takers name to reach with the power bar.. for example when i take them with beckham i tend to raise the power bar to the CK in his name when 25 yards n lower.. but when its more distance ill hitt the HA..
Its best to go onto training and take few on there, once you can judge the power and get use to using the R1 button it gets easier.

now, the headers are more based on timing and positioning, double team defense can be broken with accurate passing, and the shit just runs so smooth!

the fucken menu and the music is still shit though...they never try to fix that shit.  but its all about the gameplay baby!
