The novel you're talking about was written by a guy called Mark Winegard or something.
Publishers hired him to make a quick buck after Puzo died.
The book is crap and a disgrace to Puzo's work.

Never watched the Godfather but hearing what people said about the 3rd one, should they even bother?  Lot of them didn't like it.  You don't wanna follow up with another bad sequel.  Ruin a good thing.
