I know its usually safer to buy brand names you're familiar with, but anyone familiar with this brand that can tell me if it's good or not? I know somebody that can get me a good deal for one of these.

To kick off the holiday shopping season I guess. I still don't get it because most people shop 1-2 days before Christmas anyways.

Yeah, the contrast ratio is pretty shitty. I guess you really do pay for what you get, but I might take a chance on it depending on the warranty options. If not, I'll wait until I can afford a more dependable brand TV.

I see...We also have blow-out sales here in Belgium but the prices aren't that extremely low. I mean, 50 bucks give or take for a very decent Samsung camera? That's just crazy. If I lived in the US, I think I'd save up a lot of money throughout the year so I can spend about half of it during these sales.
