yeah, ive had this problem before mate, in exactly the same way except there were 5 of us and 2 of them fucked it up big time... end of the day you gota have a word with the teachers, explain things and see if they can help or come to a resolution about it.. things didnt work out too well with me on the subject, ended up kickin the two bitchs who didnt work out (they failed) and basically had to cover there final work, didnt get the best grade for it but was alot more organised/better then allowin two mugs to coast through, and get a grade they didnt deserve.
