My Creative Train of thought musically is fucked...

so im here, working on a remix sorta, doing something productive, i start off with a house remix, im not satisfied and i make a latin type loop, then im messing with another sound bank and use a hip hop sample, then when making that i use another sound bank and have a soulful/r&B drum loop, yet everything is in pieces and nothing is a finished product..... I think its because I dont have a favorite music genre/genre that i listen to the most. I listen to hip hop, R&B, house, latin, rock and some punk rock all equally the same....so i dont have like a set style or anything, too many influences, and i cant get anything else outta my mind....shit is frustrating as hell......

That happens to me all the time.  I've been reading a lot of books on music lately, and it helps a lot.  I've only made 3 beats in the last month, but they're all good ones.
