Yeah I get what you're saying. They don't consider a lot of our rappers to be mcs for some odd reason. But Cube, Kam, Tray Dee, Kurupt (in his prime), Ras Kass, Bad Azz, Yukmouth, even the early Snoop are all mcs in my book.

the reason why the west coast is not known for lyricists is except for Cube there hasn't been a true MC to blow up from there xcept if you want to count Death Row Era Snoop, but Crooked I, Ras Kass, Death Row Kurupt, Bad Azz all these dudes is real MC's
