Timbaland Production 2006-
« on: January 21, 2007, 01:53:20 PM »
God DAMNNNNN, Timbo's latest Production is sooo incredible!!!

Nelly Furtado - Loose
Justin Timberlake - Futuresex/Lovesounds

 :o :o :o :o

I have to admit the producer of last year is Timbo without a doubt. Now I know why he won't give these beats to rappers, because the beats are to good man. He's on some other level shit.

So my question is what other songs did he produce last year?? I heard he got some beats on Omarion's new album, how are they?

I really hope Timbaland will bring the heat in the future!!! Can't wait for his new projects, even 50's shit

I think so, he's coming with a solo album this year.

Timbo produced for alot of people in 2006 and most of it was great!

And yes Timbaland is releasing an album this year called 'Shock Value'. The first single "Give It To Me" with Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado made its debut on radio a few days ago in Los Angeles. He has even worked with rock bands for songs to be put on this album like The Hives, Fall Out Boy, and She Wants Revenge and none other than Elton John. This is my most anticipated album right now.

Timbo the king!

I think that the best rap joint he produced was for Jeezy and the most dissapointg and basically the only one is that Busta joint.

Hes probably gonna rule 07 too with contributing on projects like Lil Wayne new LP, Before I Self Destruct, Ultimate Victory, Buck The World, Duran Duran, Bjork... and of course his solo project, for which he said he wants to takeover rap, rnb, dance... everything.

I have that 1st single in mp3 but its a shitty qualty.

timbo's rapping is like dre's rapping to me: perfectly listenable but not at all necessary considering the dope vocalists they have access to.

timbo's voice is good for choruses though. this give it to me shit is tight.

i always enjoy timbo's shit but it has NO replay value or addictiveness to me.

cases in point:

his west coast work-set it off from Last Meal...Banger...I nevr bump it.
Put you on the game from documentary, banger. I never bump it.
His work on blue carpet, bangin'. I never bump it. I actually liked the neptunes 10 lil crips way better than the timbo track, it felt like a better version of what Timbo was tryin to do on that jr.gong joint.

and that new track with nelly and timberlake was enjoyable as fuck, but I don't care if I never hear it again, he has this one solo joint called dat funk from some soundtrack or something, was cool but not all that addictive or bright...I think it's the same reason I'm buying all dre's work before I buy all of quiks....Timbo is consistent in the same way quik is...sticks to a sound so their fans are always gonna be satisfied with their shit But I feel it's not expansive enough on an artiistic level to capture me. In other words, I see timbo as on the same level as battlecat: a funky synthed out electronic ass beat maker. Of course the reply to that is, timbo sells millions more than battlecat...that's cool, but this is just my assessment of the artistic output that I am familiar with.

some of the only stuff I like is when he uses really high pitched, bright melodies, and women. Like his supa dupa fly with missy is quite addictive. are you that somebody with aaliyah is quite addictive. the song snoop dogg with the catchy bitches on the chorus and the high pitched guitar punches accentuating the bassline, catchy as fuck.

Timbo held it down with the Pop acts, but Just Blaze had it locked with Hip-Hop.

I think Timbo and Snoop make a dope combo, Get A Light is one of the best tracks on BCT and the joints he did on Last Meal were bangers too
