Thoughts on "Going Back To Cali" by Biggie Smalls?

Man to me this is the best usage of the "More Bounce To The Ounce" sample. "Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta", "Respect Your O.G's", "[Forgotten SCC song]", "You Gots To Chill" were all great, but this shit in particular was funky and phat as hell. What do you think?

It's alright.  The lyrics were boarder line corny.  I remember when the song came out my friend was like "Biggie is really sucking up to the west coast so they won't kill him."  If we only knew...

Love the track! It was a risky track for him to do, and I remember at the time, everyone thought it was gonna be on some "fuck Cali' shit, but he kept it respectful. I also think Easy Mo Bee used one of the best interpolations of "More Bounce" ever in rap.
