they should get rid of kovalev, samsonov, koivu, rivet, bonk and go get some new young players from the bulldogs, than go get simon gagne, he's an incredible player and i'm sure he would like to play for mtl. Then give the C to sourray and get karey price to goal the next season. There's too many little clicks in the team and that's what poisoining the atmosphere. We need a young team just like pittsburg

You cant get rid of all those guys but Bonk, Rivet will be gone next year thats for sure along wqith others. Kovalebv is trash and unless they protect Koivu as in surrounding him with a real NUmber 1 line center this team is doomed.

The Wild/Stars game tonight was one of the best games I have seen in a while. There was no score until the last 5 minutes of the second period, then it was 1-1 to start the 3rd. Now the game is about to head to a shootout. The Wild lead the league in shootout wins so I hope all goes well.

Koivu made a sweet top shelf backhand shot to win the shootout! Hopefully the Wild keep this up so they move up the standings. The Western conference is packed together pretty tight so all they need is a few more wins.
