When Price wasnt around, Huet was great and when Huet wasnt around, Price was great. Coincidence? I think not. Price was gonna start next year anyways, so the Canadiens had to test him as a number one goalie.

Frustrated we didnt get Marian Hossa? I'd rather keep Higgins, O'Byrne and whoever they were asking for then have Hossa for 20 games then lose him in free agency. I'd rather sign him and lose 0 asset.

Penguins are gonna score a lot of goals..true, but goal scoring isnt a problem for Montreal, Offense doesnt win you Stanley Cups and don't bring up the Tampa Bay Lighting, they won the cup when they had Khabibulin in net. The Penguins ALWAYS has the best players, but they don't win as many cups as teams like New Jersey.

The favorite for the East is the Devils. They have the goaltending, the shutdown ability, the defense and the experience to win it all, wouldnt want to face them. Ottawa has many problems

the battle for the first place will be something. Why is the hurricanes in 3rd? i know there's a rule about the worst champion team of the last 3 years but are they assured to get to the playoffs? the got less point than the team in the 8th spot that's complete bullshit

i could care less what the english side of the country think, it's easier for me though i dont live in mtl. Also, in general, i think the sports media in mtl should take a chill pill about the habs and check outside of hockey there are other sports
