i could care less what the english side of the country think, it's easier for me though i dont live in mtl. Also, in general, i think the sports media in mtl should take a chill pill about the habs and check outside of hockey there are other sports

you bet damn right! the habs get too much pressure from the fucking media, the sport media can kiss my ass  ;D

just the english one one team 990, guys like Tony Marinaro and Mitch Melnick even PIerre Mcgwire. Mcwgire keeps saying Latendresse has no talent, was hurt buy staying in the nhl last year this, that and wtv comes to mind yet Jordan stall is having a horrible year with like 4 golas yet he backs him up sayinghes great. Bias against french players is incredible.

Stall sucks. Theres no bias. There is a ONtario bias..thats it. Its not an english french thing...its a Canada vs Ontario thing

He was good a couple of yrs ago.
Last yr he sucked; this yr he started off well and then has been really up & down.

If the Sharks win tonight, they move into first place in the division and 2nd in the conference!!!! They have been playing great lately, hopefully it carries over to the playoffs. Playoff hockey is great to watch, it's too bad so many people sleep on it because they don't understand or can't relate to the game.
I got a bird's eye view

The NHL does a horrible job promoting the NHL.  In the mid 90's the NHL was gaining popularity in the states but then decided to move every back to cable.  Now the NHL is on some channel called verses which most Americans don't get.  That be said Lets Go Rangers.... King Henry is back to being a wall.

of course, but with players like gretzky and lemieux and the original teams being good it was selling himself. Who gives a fuck about the trashers or tampa bay?

I dont know why some of those cities have teams,  I mean why the hell does Florida have 2?  I always thought Seattle could support a team..  especially compared to places like Nashville
