@sav: I dunno.  I think they are worth 4.5/5 mill each.  I think the Sedins want to stay with Van, but they want to be payed for their full value.  I think Gillis wants to have cap room though to go after some of those big free agents, so he might not be willing to fork out what  they want.  They both got exactly 82 points each this year, so that shows you how good they are.  But only when they are together, so there is the lenience.

If Sundin decides to play another year, he will take a paycut and stay with Van.

Ohlund is not coming back to Van.

Yep, the Penguins have looked much better at home, and now they know that they can win this series. I would love to see Malkin and Crosby take the Stanley Cup away from the Wings, although the real key has been the play from Fleury.

That last game was ugly, I hope that Game 6 isn't the same way. I saw an article headline asking if Malkin deserves the MVP even if the Penguins lose, and it actually could make sense depending on how it finishes. He has played extremely well this series, I hope he has 2 more good games left in him though.

2-0 pens in 3rd period.  The main shocker is that Fleury hasn't allowed an easy fluke goal.  When the season is over the pens still need another goalie.  Someone who can actually shut out an opponent.  And typical while i'm typing...the shutout is over & the red wings score.   I can even score a goal or two on Fleury

Penguins hold on   Game 7.  Either way I win.  For the 2nd year in a row a team I like will win the Cup.  I prefer the pens win more.  If they win, it will be the 1st time since I graduated high school.  Coulda won 3 in a row if they didnt' tamper with perfection & change the best uniforms in NHL history   But if the Red wings win again, they're getting closer to typing & passing the Maple Queefs for 2nd most stanley cups winners.  And there isn't much competition in the west so it will be a few years when it will happen.

Wings had every chance to wrap this series up tonight and they didn't do it. Two easy goals in the first period were botched. Then another easy backhander inthe 3rd. Not to mention that breakaway that was an easy five hole goal. It's like they were too anxious. Way too many quick shots were taken when they had time to deke. I'm stil as certain as possible that they'll take it at home, I just really wanted to wear my jersey tomorrow.
