Well,it just wasnt going to happen for the current line up and with with alain as head coach.if he isnt fired im going to lose faith completely in this team.LETS GO HABS!

Positive Notes:

-Again division champion

-Again made it to round 2

-This is the last year Hawks roster will be this good for awhile

-Gillis improved the roster this year

-Some cap space to work with (Mitchell, Demitra gone) (Altho could be negated with Raymond and others needing re-ups)

-Almost all players on the roster improved this season (Biggest positive to me) and have the chance to mature even more now.

Thats all positives,but the fact remains this team will never win with alain as coach.He has clue what chemistry means.He never takes timeouts at critical times.he throws his players under the bus often but never admits anything was his fault.Why would demitra be promoted to the 2nd line when hes done nothing to warrant it.Why was demitra plying the point again when it was proven he was highyl ineffective as he was no threat to shoot.the canucks had all the right tools this year and simply got out coached.Alain would make a great ahl coach but he has no business in the nhl.His strageties get exposed in the playoffs by other coaches.they adapt and he has no response.

We won our division, the core is signed for years to come, we've got grabner, hodgson and schroeder coming up...  the future is bright in Vancouver, we've just gotta sign a couple D-Men

Well he did juggle lines less this season.  But yeah, I would say series lost 30 percent via coaching (which is a big number), 10 percent injures, 60 percent players not performing.

And I know, I hate the media here...  The 2 radio stations (CKNW and TEAM1040) are absolutely brutal on everyone. I couldn't listen to that shit for more than 10 minutes..  One of them was taking a shit all over Gillis, lol.   CBC and TSN are the only hockey analysts I will listen to..  Kelly Hrudey is the shit.... =D

It was funny how the CBC panel was blaming Wellwood for giving Demitra a bad pass, when Demo had so much room to skate right and either shoot or give it to Ehrhoff along the boards.

It's really strange how being a top paid goalie is no more a factor. Tim thomas got replace , Theodore and huet too.. All the top goalies fucked (brodeur, luongo).
