No Detroit, no fuckin Pittsburgh, in the finals.  Life is sweet.

Interesting note:  In all of the major sports, only 3 teams have come back from 3-0 down to win a series.  1 was MLB, 2 were NHL, with the most recent one being the Islanders in 1975.

I just found out Vancouver is out. I would started watching again if it was a Vancouver/Montreal final, just to stick it to Bettman. I would have found someone with a Nielsen box or whatever they use here in Canada and thrown a huge finals party at their house.

Montreal’s history of hockey-related unrest repeated itself early Thursday morning as a small-scale riot broke out downtown.

At about 12:20 a.m. a few youths celebrating along with hundreds of others on Ste-Catherine St. began to break the windows of a government-owned SAQ liquor store, including with a trash can, near the intersection of Stanley St. In a flash, dozens had jumped through the shattered windows and were looting the store.

Many emerged holding bottles up in both hands, as if in victory.

“Want something from the liquor store?” one young man was heard asking his friend before they both headed inside.

The break-in unfolded over the course of 10 minutes as several dozen police, wearing helmets and in a line a mere 20 metres away, did nothing.

Perhaps empowered by the sight of such impunity, several other rioters began to shatter the windows of a Foot Locker across the street. Again, people came from all directions, buzzed into the store and left with merchandise. One young man’s booty was a pile of sports socks.

Then, a women’s wear store next door called Marciano had its windows smashed. Rioters then took limbs from mannequins and hurled them at other windows, breaking them too.

Philly has maaaaad momentum right now, a bunch of french players and tons of skills all around and tuffness

Boston is the wya to go.. besides what would be spring time a hocley in Mt;l without a render vous with the bruins.

honestly,I think if boston wins then montreal wins the series but if philly wins they will.Philly has tons of momentum and actyually has less hurt players then boston.Especially if carter comes back.

Philly has momentum right now... but they got Leighton in front of their net. I think it will hurt them, if we faced them.
