another disappointing end to the Sharks' season.

They got pretty far this year, and bowed to an unstoppable team..  But they didn't even win 1 game this series, kind of deflating..

that's the part that kills it. I dunno if you watched the game today on CBC or not, but they basically said the same thing.

it wasn't about losing to the Blackhawks, because they are an excellent team. But being sweeped, for the #1 seed is not a good feeling and look. Especially when you have home ice advantage.

Well, Blake is gone, and his salary probably goes to re-upping Pavelski.  I guess Demers will slide more into the lineup on the blue line..  Then you still need to re-up Setoguchi, which will take an extra 2-3 mill.  They are gonna need some extra coin for that, and to maybe sign another D to deepen their back-end.  That leaves them with deciding between Marleau and Evgeni if they want to make the cap hit..  I think they will let Marleau go, and re-sign Nabokov (there won't really be any better goalies out there).

lol, that is a great deal, I would do that straight up no problem.

Demers is a an offensive D with sub-standard defensive ability. He doesn't look like he weighs alot and I haven't seen him throw alot of hits.   He could be groomed into as Dan Boyle type of player..

He really was a saving grace in terms of prospective puck-moving D, after having to dump Ehrhoff.  With PP time he can get you a point every other game right now.
