I remember hearing some verse off Sweat/Suit which actually displayed Nelly has some real talent as a rapper. To hate on him for his poppy stuff would be unfair, because Nelly is talented. I just don't like listening to him

I don't see how everyone can have a heart for Nelly(not that his music wasn't fun poppy music for whatever purpose you would have for such music) but mercilessly bash decently talented artists like Kurupt and Sage Francis

and timboisnotdetox, I used to feel like that about the board too but as you can see based on the responses in this thread alone even,the spectrum's somewhat more diverse than it used to be.


and QT, I think you may have a natural partiality to it because you're in connecticut so like you can kinda relate to it or some kind of regional thing.(which is completely cool, just an observation)

I don't like him b/c he's CORNY.  The fact that he ain't reppin no hood or block has nothing to do with it.
