Looks like Sammy is in. Texas Rangers: After watching the first four days of practice, manager Ron Washington said he has "no doubt" that Sammy Sosa will make the team as the designated hitter. Then Washington added, "if he doesn't perform, doubt will probably set in." The games start Friday. Instead of pitching in the Cactus League opener Friday, No. 1 starter Kevin Millwood will start in a "B" game earlier in the day. Last year he played in 130, the year before that 14, and the year before that one 147. This past year his HR rate was closer to how it was in the 90s than it was in the early 2000s, so odds are he's not gonna be hitting 30-35 HR.
