This is the last time im gonna explain this. People need to give a TOP 5. Where #1 is 5 points #2 is 4 points and so on. After that the 2 players with the most votes,
advance to the final thread. Where there will be ONE 1vs1 poll. So the #1 Goes against the #2. Aint nothing difficult about this.

See this is where the problem lies regarding picking our G.O.A.T.'s.

In my opinion there should be no doubt that Lev Yashin is the G.G.O.A.T.

But we're actually in the situation right now where more people have not placed him in their WHOLE TOP 5 than people who have.

I mean I understand that this is a poll, a voting system, whatever.

But some positions should speak for themselves.

He is the ONLY goalkeeper ever to have won the title of European Footballer of the Year.

He is reported to have saved more than 150 penalties in his career - no-one has ever come close to equalling that.

And apart from those facts, he was actually voted by experts as the The World's Best Goalkeeper of the Century

I mean if we award the 2 DC spots and Franz Beckenbauer isn't one of them, then something again has gone terribly wrong.

I understand what youre saying, its the same thing we were saying before we started this.

But the thing is why i didnt vote for him, cuz i dont know nothing about him. I never saw him play or whatever. So if i would pick him it would be only because of reputation.
At least i saw Pele, Maradona etc playing.

We shouldve picked a year, like we said before 1990 or something.

We already started this so we should better finish it first.

But i agree with you on this. And offcourse people got favorites cuz of their country or club. So its difficult to make a legit GOAT team.
