Go to Imperial Courts dressed in blue. I'm sure you'll get a lot of love.

The usual.....Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles - Pico and La Brea...not the Sunset one!Slauson "Supermall" a.k.a. Swap Meet - Slauson and WesternEl Cholo - my favorite Mexican Restaurant....it's on Western, somewhere near Olympic I think. Most of the 21+ clubs are on Hollywood Blvd and Sunset...even though the drinks, entrance fee, and parking are VERY overpriced. On the regular, it's 10-20 parking, 15-20 to get in, and 10-12 for drinksVenice Beach is usually cool durin the day, and Santa Monica might be too.For malls...I donno what you like, but "Westfield Fox Hills" or whatever they wanna call it is the best one. We still call it "Fox Hills Mall"...it's in Culver City off the 405 Sepulveda Exit. Most people like Beverly Center the best, but it doesn't quite cater to me.
i´ve been to both LA and NY and the advantage of NY is that you can get anywhere pretty fast. in LA you might have to travel long ass distances for good shopping, good food, good clubs etc. in NY it´s all there within walking distance(if you´re downtown). but the pace in NY is just retarded, and people are rude as fuck. and in LA people took it a lot slower and it´s easier to make contact with people in LA(from my experience anyway).
