You should peep John Frusciantes solo albums. Not too good at singing but hes AMAZING with a guitar. Hes playing guitar for tracks on the new Cuban Linx album too.

RHCP are on some funk/hip hop shit alot of the time man. They cover Sly Stone and work with George Clinton and shit. I bet you'd dig alot of it, it has that funky CA/LA sound.
