Honestly, these 2pac collectors and 14 year old "die hard fans" (who's first 2pac listening experience was some terrible post 2000 remix with Ashanti singing the hook BTW) have really made me not want to listen to Pac as much as I used to. It's just something about how seriously people take him and the effort they put into hording his unreleased music and parading it off as their own and no one else’s.. the coining of gay terms like "rares" and "unheards" and the exorbitant selling (but not really selling) of anything he's ever done (or been videotaped doing) it just makes the music seem different. Like you cant just be interested in it without having some unhealthy fixation on Pac' posters and wristwatches, promos and "unheards." Seeing the people who obsess over the guy’s music just makes me fell kind of turned off to it. That whole 2pac fan scene just seems really fucked up to me.
