Tha Crip

i just burned myself my own version of Dogg Food...damn now imagine if they hadnt placed such hot songs on the deathrow soundtracks and saved them for there debut instead...check it out

1. "Intro"
2. "Dogg Pound Gangstaz"
3. "Respect"
4. "New York, New York"
5. "Smooth"
6. "Cyco-Lic-No"
7. "Ridin', Slippin' & Slidin'"
8. "Big Pimpin'" (version from above the rim)
9. "Who Got Some Gangsta Shit?" (from murder was the case)
10. "Lets Play House" [also if they had put the version with Warren G, it woulda been better]
11. "I Dont Like to Dream About Gettin' Paid"
12. "Dogg Pound 4 Life" (from above the rim)
13. "What Would U Do?" (from murder was the case)
14. "Reality"
15. "Come Up To My Room" [production sounds like str8 dogg food shit]
16. "Sooo Much Style" [i woulda replaced this with a CDQ version of "Cant C Us" if i had one]
17. "Niggas Dont Give A Fuck" (from poetic justice)

it all fits onto an 80 minute cdr if anyone wants to make one for themself...but damn...this album woulda been hailed an even more classic then it already is if had been released like this dont ya think  :-\
now i know this might be a stupid thread considering shit didnt happen like this but shit a guy can dream cant he  8)

yeah i agree ..besides doggs day afternoon should stay on it and im not the biggest fan of ."Who Got Some Gangsta Shit?" ..i love snoop on the track but overall its not one of my fav songs
....but thats deathrow for yall..they allways worked on soundtracks like  on real albums and put the best shit on murder was the case, above the rim etc...

That is a tight mix, but that is one thing I can say about Death Row Soundtracks, they are still dope as fuck. Most soundtracks you only bump a couple of songs but Tha Row's played out like a compilation. It was a way to have all the artists contribute something on a album, since so many were not coming out, and it was new music from the favorites. Man, now I am going to have to find my Murder Was The Case soundtrack and bump it in the car.

I like the modification. On my versino of Dogg Food I have some MWTC shit mixed in like 21 jumpstreet,(goes well behind 'big pimpin ii','ridin, slippin, slidin',)  what would you do and some other shit.) Doggz Day Afternoon is too much of a gap wasted I'd say though.

also, Soo Much Style is underappreciated.

hmm, i didn't know there was a version of Let's Play House with Warren G on it. but anyway, yeah i'd say that's a pretty tight tracklisting. basically all my favorite DPG songs were on those classic soundtracks like MWTC and ATR.

Are you all forgetting NIGGAZ and BITCHES off Doggystyle?????????!!!!!!!!!!!  This is straight Dogg Pound, Snoop doesn't even grace this mic on this track, even though it fits great on DOggystyle, why the hell was it on there???

But you are right Crip, Dogg Food coulda been so much doper.  Still classic, but nowhere near Doggystyle or Chronic, which is what everyone was expecting at the time.

The tracklist should not be changed, cuz it's already a classic

I think thats a good tracklist, I normally skip Bomb Azz Pussy and We All Gone Fuck so id replace those
But I'm a do it like this so your crew will know
Tie your leg to a car, tie the other to a pole
Talk shit and laugh cause I got the gift of gab
Hop in the car, hit the gas, watch your ass split in half
