I'm wondering..
Was the whole album recorded after Pac got killed ?
Cause it's kinda weird that it doesn't have Pac on it..

I always wondered that too. I think some songs were done before but not the whole album. I know Doggfather was before because he performed that at the House Of Blues when Pac was there.

Yeah, Pac coulda obviously made that album much better. It's kinda hard to believe if they didn't record anything for it

Yeah especially after you have so many Outlawz/DPG collabos on other projects on Death Row around that time. The only thing I can think of is that this is around the time Pac and Suge got mad at Snoop because he would not take their side in the Biggie beef, so he did not do anything for his album.

"Street Life" (wit Tupac) was recorded 4 "Tha Doggfather", wasn't it?
I think if Tupac didn't die in 1996, he would be on this LP...

They were recorded when 2Pac was alive.  There would of have to have been a dedication track if some were recorded after he died.

i wonder why they didnt put "Wanted Dead or Alive" on that album, even tho i dont like that song due to the beat, at least Pac woulda been on it.

I think because that one was already picked for the Gridlock'd soundtrack.  Or maybe the sample didn't clear in time.

Doggystyle may be the better piece of music but I'll take Doggfather any day over it
