when he started dying and watching his body go
he started knowing things that he shoulda known before
things like people miss him and things like some weren't right
and he knew there was a God for he saw him that night
when the angels came to take him
and he went to live with them
my heart it was a broken
for we lost a treasure within
so every year we celebrate
a treasure that was once here
a man that bought us smiles and hugs
and now he is no longer here
just to know that he looked down one time
as he left us there
to know that he wished us luck
in a world thats not fair
if it was fair
we would have our earthly angels here
and we would not have to see
where once those angels be.............
