Thoughts on new Kurupt album

Digital Smoke with J Wells was very dope and the new track that I've heard Mystic River is 8), looking forward to Kurupt's solo which might shape up to be his best since Streetz with the producers that he's working with and the way he is spitting

I know the tracks are older but I hope Westside Ridin with Daz and That's It would be on it. He killed both those tracks.

Eh... Considerin' that Kurupt already dropped a solo project since those tracks I doubt we will see them end up on an official release.

I think it's going to be a very decent album. But I have little hope it'll be able to step to TSIAM or SBSO

I don't know, that Mystic River beats and lyrics wise holds up with alot of songs on Space Boogie. There should be no excuse for weak beats. He has some of the best to choose from. It just depends on the rhymes.

I think the producers snoop and his label was fucking with at the time of SBSO are better then the producers snoop and co. are fucking with now. And that ain't taking nothing away from terrace martin, thx, and all them dudes, it's just extremely difficult to top the producers they were fucking with at the SBSO time.

Actually he is using the same producers. Fred Wreck produced the bulk of Space Boogie and he is still around. The only other producers on that was Quik, Lethal, Mike Dean, Soopafly, and Daz. The question is what producers Snoop likes for this project. If it is up to Kurupt then he will have the usual suspects. But Snoop still works with Jelly Roll, Battlecat, Fred, etc, it is just now the circle of producers he has to use is growing so where he gets beats from a new producer, that might have other mainstay left out.

one thing I hate about this forum (and this is no offense to the homey higheyecue) is that albums that ain't even OUT yet are referred to with 'was'.

'digital smoke was dope'...i'm like 'wtf?' I ain't even bought it yet. shit's not even OUT yet. I listen to shit when I buy it typically and it's like damn, i'm already behind.

I'm down with jelly roll, battlecat, fredwreck etc. It's the THX, Terrace Martin and so on i'm not big on (there good, but don't touch the prev. dudes i mentioned, and that's no disrespect, because that is hard to do)
