Yeah.. me too.. funny story about that line.  Is that the way I explained it in my rhyme was only my interpretation of the man's advice, because actually, I found out later he was saying something else.

Check this out....

He told me,

"Keep seeing the good,
and more good will come to you,
Cause there is good even in bad".

^^^ He told me something like that (along with other things).

So I interpreted that to mean, that in the past I had been able to see the good, even though the situation was actually a bad situation.  So I was actually inspired by that thought, because I kind of took it to be like a proof that no matter what I'm going through I've shown I have the ability to see the good.

Then... later in the conversation I asked him to explain more about what he had said.  And it turned out that my interpretation of it (that I wrote above) was actually not what he was saying.  He was speaking in a future tense, and also saying that old, tired cliche of "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger".

But I actually liked the origional interpretation I had of what he said better, so I'm going to stick with that anyway.
