Indiana trades    Jermaine ONeal, Orien Green, David Harrison
LA Lakers trade  Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, Jordan Farmar, Vladamir Radanomich


The salaries match up. You have to give up alot to get a 28 year old 6 time all star.

Take a look at the 06-07 numbers...

Jermaine O'neal
19.4 ppg, 9.6 rpg, 2.4 apg, 2.6 bpg, 43.7 fg% in 69 games

Pau Gasol
20.8 ppg, 9.9 rpg, 3.4 apg, 2.1 bpg, 53.9 fg% in 59 games

They're numbers are almost even. But Gasol is younger, cheaper, a better shooter, and isn't as injury prone as JO. If I had my choice I'd go with Gasol.

Not even close? Fine, if you think JO is better, cool...But to say it's not close is unreasonable. Gasol had better numbers than JO this season.

come on NIK, who do u really think has been a better player thelast few years JO or Gasol, come on man.  JO is comparable to TD and KG,  Gasol is good but JO is definitely the better player.
