U-20 World Championship in Canada
« on: July 01, 2007, 10:28:38 AM »
Who's watching this tournament? I've seen 2 games so far: Brazil-Poland and Argentina-Czech Rep.

So far i was been impressed by Leandro Lima (Brazil), but other good players are Pato (Brazil), Sergio Aguerro (Argentina), Maxi Moralez (Argentina) and Mauro Zarate (Argentina). Who are your fav players?

End of first half of the Japan vs Scotland game. What to say? Japan is destroying Scotland, so far. 1-0.

Damn, you missed a fucking beautiful game.  Skill, teamwork, strategy was all top notch from both Spain and Uruguay.  It's going to be hard to find a better game than that one in this tourney.

Yep.  He hasn't played in the first two games of the Copa America because of an injury he had while playing vs. the U.S in the Gold Cup Final.

Highlights of Spain vs Uruguay

I used to be able to embed the video by taking out the question mark and equal sign and replace them with slashes, do I have to do it a new way now?

my buddy is a volunteer at the U-20...he sits by the bench with the stretcher...

Dude gave me tickets for the Spain game but I never went....he said the skill and teamwork from Spain was fuckin amazing.

Oh...this is going to be the second highest attendend U-20 ever...a million plus tickets almost sold.

Not bad for Canada  ;D

Mexico looked really good last night, lots of movement up front and Dos Santos really does look total quality.

Cavani and Suarez both looked really good for Uruguay against Spain.

I'm hoping to see some more of Tomas Pekhart, Spurs player who came off the bench in the Czech Republic's first game.

One player no-one else has mentioned so far is Ever Banega of Argentina. He broke into the Boca Juniors team in the second half of last season and was instrumental, along with Riquelme, in their eventual Copa Libertadores success. He is a clever midfielder playmaker and will surely take up Riquelme's number ten role at Boca next season if he doesn't manage to secure a permanant transfer from Villarreal.
