I just finished watching season 4 again, and man this fuckin' show is great, I can't wait for season 5. This will be the final season, I hope they don't go out the way The Sopranos did.

I recommend people who don't watch the show to start watchin it, you won't be disappointed.

season 4 is my favorite. ive been a fan of the Wire since day one. since like 4-5 years ago. the storytelling is just so intricate, and its developed from season 1 all the way through 4, and its not just self contained episodes or seasons.. like a conversation from season 4 ties all the way back to a conversation in season 1, so you gotta stick it through..

anyways, its my favorite show ever. and on another note, I saw Snoop (from Marlow's crew) out here at a Snoop Dogg show in LA during the BET awards week.

Haven't seen Season 4 yet since it's not out on DVD, but man, am I looking forward to see it. The Wire is indeed the best show on TV, period.

its def better than sopranos, sopranos storylines really suck at some points like during the middle of their run.. and i think the way they did the ending solidified my preference of the wire over sopranos.

id say its better than oz too, i havent watched that much of oz, but from what i did saw i really didnt like it.. you'll see some characters from OZ in The Wire, since HBo always recycles their actors.
