It was more than just the hook.  The intro had Snoop making a parody of the East Coast... saying stuff like "Yo God, Yo God, Is that Money? Yo , I Got Mad Skillz!"  And then Kurupt was basically showing in his verses that he could flip an East Coast style and flip it better than the East Coast rappers themselves could do, he showed that West Coast artists were also true emcee's.

I remember hearing this and they're just rappin about random shit. If this was supposed to be a response to NY NY, it wasn't a very good one.

Personally I thought it was weak when I heard it.

jeronimo you need to listen to that song again ...that whole cd is killa...  anyone got the OG version to hook up(never heard that)..along with the album version.. i have the album at home but would like to compare the two now at work!  LOL
