The album was supposed to be released in September 2007,[2] however, the release date was later pushed back to mid-2008.[1]

the thing is, us as fans want to see a new Dr. Dre record, however, he is under such great pressure to drop something which is on par or surpasses what The Chronic and 2001 did to the whole genre. Detox will come, when i dont know, what i do know (or hope...) is that the album will blow our minds once again.

LMAO, real talk. This album has alot ridieing on it, and on top of that him being a perfectionast, shits gonna take forever to drop, a beat that will probably blow our minds, he will throw away and come up with something even more crazy, this album has to be good!!!

I was just being funny earlier, but for me there has been little or no info on this project. Even Bishop Lamont says it is Area 51. We don't know if it has been scrapped and started over or what. So for me it is whenever it drops, it drops. I can't get hyped about something even the people participating on the album don't even though when it is going to be released.
