i'm starting my research for an assignment, and i chose the topic of promotion, specifically public relations and publicity campaigns the company has used.

any information/links on Universal records would be handy. cheers!

I would cut down the topic to how they work over in Australia.

yeah i'm researching their australian shit now.

at this stage i'm thinking about breaking it down into genres, possibly classical/hiphop/pop and rock. trying to show how they switch it up with different genres. i dont have to go into great detail, just techniques n shit they use as an overall, and wack a few examples in the mix.

have you studied the topic before?

I wouldn't say I have studied the topic, but I know some about it. Best is to interview someone who works at Universal.

thats a good idea to interview a universal employee! i'll definetly try that/
