i was thinkin that the shoe fit Common more than any other rapper, and we all know Cube and Common had beef in the past...

Lupe admitted in an interview that he grew up listening to gangsta rap rather than "backpack" hip-hop when he was asked why he fucked up A Tribe Called Quest's "Electric Relaxation" lyrics at the VH1 Hip Hop Honors this year (I didn't watch it, but i think that's the ATCQ track he fucked up)
