What are the pros, what are the cons?
Do u like XP or Vista better?
How is it improved over XP?
What problems have u had?
What are cool features?
What old programs don't work w/ it?  For instance I heard there was problems w/ I tunes, and MS Office.

I need to upgrade my computer soon, and it comes on all the new computers, and I'm just wondering about it.  Thanks for the help.

no real problems so far.

Start up and shut down are slow because its meant to be put to sleep rather than turned off

no issues with iTunes and every program I use that had a conflict at first has a patch by now.

my printer is shitty with it, thats the only real thing but there may be a patch to fix it now as well and I havent looked yet.

Ummmm.

I turned off the windows preview thing, I'm not a retard, I can read whats on that tab I dont need a picture.  The sidebar is pretty useless, you can turn it off or customize it to make it useful, mine is only news calculator and clock and note pad.

ummmmmmmmmm

I cant think of anything else, I really like it, I mean I'm not disappointed.

hope that helps homie.

I thought vista was about having a huge hard drive or something.

1.pros, secure future ready. cons, not ready for older computers, you need 1gb+ minimum.
2.vista all the way
3.more secure. improved 64bit support.
4.uh, dont remember they were very bad problems
5.network mapper. it will find and pplace on a map all the computer you have on your network and any upnp devices (tv media boxes, xbox360's, ect...)
6. al 16bit programs dont work with x64. but dosbox deos so just run them in an emulator

I use Vista Ultimate at work.  It's cool, other than it looking a little different, it's not a big step from xp.
