Yeah co-sign on that. I have been playing this non stop. The last 2 DP albums have been 2 extremes. CIA was way too left field for them, sounded all over the place. Dogg Chit was back to they old style, but at times sounded outdated. This is a combination of a updated sound and something a little different. Even a little rock n roll sample for Soopa's verse. That is what I love about Soopa's beats. He will take risks and try new sounds. And at this point of DPG's career, a new updated, fresh west coast sound is needed. Daz, Soopa and Fred Wreck is all you need for a Dogg Pound album. And maybe a couple Battlecat beats.

yea CIA had 2 many commercial tracks, and DC did have a few boring 1s on here (dat aint my baby, etc.)
definitely an updated sound, love how the beat changing up
he def took a risk on this one, and (for me) it paid off 100%
agreed on them 3-4 producers is really all they need

This reminded me of Son of Bazerk's "Change The Style" back in 91'..... it's risky and creative... gets a Thumbs Up from me.

This shit is bangin.  I always want to see them make their money but I was afraid that Cash Money wasn't going to be the right fit for them.  Daz is one of the coldest artist when it comes to this indy game so I'm sure he'll figure out something for them to do next.  DPG 4 Life........
