I Didn't Think You Were Bein' Disrespectful About Your System, If I Had Money I'd Do The Same, I'd Have An Expensive Stereo.  Nobody's Trippin.

he's already adding rock guitar back into some of his productions and will continue to use that in his musical instrument
Dre is a keyboard master he should sign or create an industrial rock band !

hey NIK, my friend has one of those too but it doesn't play those kinda discs becuase we bought Master of Puppets in 5.1 and tried to play it but it wouldn't, it's kinda like playing a dvd in a cd player  or putting an aol cd into your dvd player it can't work

Wow, this is an old post.  I will give you a quick update on the 5.1 sound that Dre hopes to utilize one day.  Right now there are no plans to release any Aftermath album on 5.1.  I think that will soon change though.  Dre really wants to use it for Detox.  If he does it would probably be released after the regular cd print of detox.  the problem with 5.1 sound is that there are different formats.  there is Dvd-audio and sacd.  Right now Universal (and therefore Interscope) endorse the sacd format.  however they also endorse the new dual disc format.  a dual disc is a two sided disc - on side is the regular cd, the other side is a dvd, which includes a dvd audio 5.1 mix of the album plus extras like pictures, credits and videos.  There are now universal players that play both the sacd and dvd audio format.  sacd is better if you focus on just the sound quality of the music. dvd-audio is great too (Metallica's the Black Album) but it allows for music videos and other extras i just mentioned.  the main problem with the formats id the lack of titles available.  it's getting better but the number of available titles are very limited.
I think you will hear Detox in 5.1 someday.  Dre wants to do it himself, which means it will take him a lot of time (it takes him a month for a regular cd so imagine how long it will take for a 6 channel mix).  Dre really wants to create a mind blowing musical experience for you to enjoy one day, so I have no doubt you will one day get a chance to hear Dre take this format to a whole new level. just don't hold your breathe waiting for it. peace.

That sounds tight as hell!  The only other CD that I know of that is in 5.1 is Insane Clown Posse's "The Wraith-Shangri-La".

Detox is never going to drop.  It's time for the old folks to step aside and let's hear some of this new young talent from long beach, and watts, num sayin... Like there's this new cat the Row got called Crooked I.  Everyone's sayin he's gonna be the next best thing.  There's high anticipation for his album.  It's gonna blow up!--- Oh yeah, and the Row got Kurupt too!

I really don't see how 5.1 could be good for music.
