South L.a. is the most dangerous "area" in the united states ?

A relative of one of my best friends in the united states has worked as an "undercover" cop in Nyc,Miami,New Orleans,Houston,Chicago,Detroit and for the last 5 years in Los Angeles. According to what he told me,South Los Angeles is the most dangerous area where he has ever worked.
How can be less dangerous New Orleans,Chicago and Nyc ?

your undercover pig friend is being biased.. check the FBI rankings.. there is only 1 city in the top 10 most dangerous cities and that is Compton which is at #9 I believe.. they have the most crime because it is over 500,000 square miles.. the bay area as an area is the most dangerous PER CAPITA.. with 3 cities in the top 10.. 4 cities that have been #1 in the past 20 years.. however, every major area has danger zones and it is all the same.. just because there was 100 more murders somewhere compared to 90 somewhere else.. it don't mean shit.. you can still get your head blown off! Ain't nobody untouchable.. be aware of the consequence when you get involved.

There's really no method to figure out the most dangerous area. There are so many different spots where the crime rates and gang activity are real high, but it's hard to point out one being so much worse than the other. Most of it is egos and people trying to represent saying their hood is tougher, but that really doesn't mean shit. I don't want to live in a "dangerous" area, but that's just me.
