The biggest problem with the offense is that the passing game didn't scare anybody all year, so hopefully Martz can make this at least decent. Also, Gore made some plays as a receiver out of the backfield last year, Martz will continue to use that so he can get more touches when the defense stacks the line. And Smith hasn't won anything, Hill deserves a shot.

The good thing about this is that Martz doesn't have a really good pass game to work with and has a solid RB. This will force him to balance the offense for his own good. If Martz had the Colt's passing game, by the time the season was over Addai wouldn't even remember what a football looked like. But you know Niner fans are going to pull their hair out a couple times next season because of some of the play calling.

DJAX and Battle can get the job done if the Qb can ge them the ball. DJax was much better with hill as the starter...But yes Roy WIlliams would be real nice to have...
