How the fuck can you say a guy who won 9 (NINE) rings is overrated?

because he had MJ and Shaq to work with?

Are you saying Auerbach's Celtics sucked?

This guy aint no crip, and I'm 100% sure on that because he doesn't type like a crip, I know crips, and that fool is not a crip.

1) He didn't chose to coach the Bulls.
2) He already had 6 rings when he went to Los Angeles. And MJ said multiple times he was been a major factor. So much that when Phil left, MJ retired.
3) The Lakers gave him the job cause even if they had arguably the most skilled team in the NBA, their coaches weren't good enought to bring some titles to L.A.

So having Shaq in your team helps, but isn't enought (just ask Harris, Hill, etc..)

LOL!! gotta love it.

Phils genius and Kobe's great play is responsible for all the victories....but the supporting cast is responsible for the losses. Way to hold your superstar and the COACH responsible. Now THAT is what you call leadership lol

Just take a look at the Lakers now, see its difficult for all you to understand because you don't follow the Lakers like we do and you don't watch every game. But what has changed over the last couple of years is that our supporting cast has developed. Phil has BEEN the hall of fame coach that he has been and Kobe's BEEN in his prime the last few years. Now Bynum is developing, Fisher is back. etc etc

I thought Phil was one of the greatest Coaches when he was with Chicago. Him winning three more with the Lakers was icing on the cake. Winning 6 titles in 8 years is nuts.

why's that? Kobe isn't even 30 yet and Phil is going to be around for a few more.
