I just spoke to Jay Rock's people, XXLmag didn't have the permission to post the song, the song is not even mixed yet, DJ Quik is actually mixing the song right now, and this isn't the proper version. They said the song will be pulled off the site asap. Look for the final, proper version on dubcnn soon!

Jay Rock is one of my favorite new artists and XXL shouldn't be fucking with him like that. I understand if its an honest mistake, but this just seems shady. It seems like a no win situation for these new west artists. Damned if you do let XXL hear your album cause your tracks leak. Damned if you don't let XXL hear your album cause your albums won't get reviewed. What are artists supposed to do?

The song is REAL nice though and I'll be buying Jay Rock's album when it drops for sure

The song was given to XXL by a publicist from Warner Bros. to put up. They [the Label] didn't tell Top Dawg Ent. about it though, because had they done so, TDE would have let them know that the song is not only un-mixed but unfinished. The final version is going to have Will.I.Am on the hook.
