Dre on "Big Egos" .... COMPTON is the city I'm from, Can't never leave the crib without a murder weapon.... Ryhming Compton and weapon is a bit of a stretch. That one never sat right with me.

I don't think he's trying to rhyme them words.

It seems like he is. You knoe, the way he says WEP- ON, I think it sucks.

First, it's not on "Big Egos" he says that, it's "Bitch Niggaz" lol
And he doesn't say "Comp-TON" - he rhymes "weapon" with "from"..

Since we're talking about wack lines and Dre:

Artist: Dr. Dre f/ Eminem
Album:  Chronic 2001
Song:   Forgot About Dre

[Dr. Dre]
Y'all know me, still the same O.G., but I been low key
Hated on by most these niggaz wit no cheese, no deals and no G's
No wheels and no keys, no boats no snowmobiles, and no ski's
Mad at me cause I can finally afford to provide my family wit groceries
http://ohhla.com/anonymous/dr_dre/theC2001/forgot.dre.txt

I think it's kinda weird that he's rappin about snowmobiles and ski's lol

I was just thinking about this, one that comes to mind is Dre on "Keep their heads ringing"

"I get plenty of ass so call me an astronaut" :-\
that song had a gang of wacc lines, "more than a stealth bomber, I cause drama
The enforcer, music flows like a flying saucer"  ,  "many tried to, but just can't rocc with
i'm 6-1, 225, of pure chocolate, yo chances of jacc'n me are slim, G
cause I rocc from summer til Santa comes down the chimney
ho ho ho, and so, as I continue to flow
cause yo, I'm just a fly negro"     yell

got a good woman at home,& this broad i smashed be-foe
but in my dome i'm think'n will it be good as be-foe
ring finger says, to don't pursue it,the "k-9" in me says
"ain't-nothing-to-it, but-to-do-it"/
but if we bang and i get caught OH-BOY-YA!/
i pray to god the wife don't get kelis or elin's lawyer

My bad, goin' from memory (that's clouded with bong resin). From, done, bum, it doesn't matter though......I STILL think it's a lame rhyme/line. I actually like Dre rappin. 100 miles, Appetite for Destruction, Fuck the police pt 3 (Sa Prise), Let me Ride, A Nigga Wit A Gun, all dope...

That's what It Sounds Like To Me..If you miss-pronounce certains words i.e murder the english laguage and break all grammatical rules and syntax et al, you can makes words rhyme that don't suppose to rhyme..
