Venice is cool to go to every once in a while, but the weekends are too packed with all the tourists. But there's a little skate park, all those little stands, that annoying guy who raps about people that are walking by, and the b-ball courts. Last time I played ball there a few months back, this black dude got mad when he lost and picked up a garbage can and threw it against the wall by the bathroom, and this white couple got all scared and were yelling to their daughter to stay in the bathroom. Hilarious!!

Very true..I remember going a few years ago and there was a lot of good players there, but I went a few times at the end of last year and it was pretty weak. Open gym at Long Beach State gets cracking sometimes, where are some other good spots to play?

^^Haha, for sure. I'm really not that good myself, but I like playing with people that are because it gets me motivated to play a lot harder. I hate playing against the lazy and out of shape dudes because I end up not even trying, and there were a lot of them at Venice last time I was there.

Also, concerning Venice, Abbot Kinney always has some sort of parade or something going on, and a lot of the art galleries and things like that will have free beer and drinks on the first Friday of every month.
