i aint even gonna go into it but popping has a rich history (before hip-hop as it originates from funk) and unfortunately there are real poppers who have the proper foundation and can DANCE with it and there are a lot of dudes who can't do the dance properly and are trying to rep something that isn't real. 'poplockin' itself is a troublesome term as popping and locking are two seperate dances, although 'poplockin' was coined and did have a real meaning to some people on the westcoast......

I'm down with all other forms of Hip-Hop culture in general, but Pop Locking, come on man, when New York was like LA ain't Hip-Hop, we pointed to the fact they bit our shit and put it in their breakdancing.
