I have been listening to Rap/Hip Hop for over 15 years and......
People Who think that Kurupt has sucked since the late 90s need to Wake Up.

2002-2005 Death Row Kurupt was Fuckin RAW & Wicked as Hell.  :o
2005-2008 Modern DPG Kurupt is SO Fuckin SICK!  :o

I actually consider Kurupt's 2006 Album "Same Day Different Shit" to be
as dope or doper than just about everything he has ever done.

I know many will disagree but just peep out this 2005-2007 Kurupt Shit.
Kurupt has Many different Flows and Styles many have never even peeped.

^^ yea, and Kurupt shows a lot more meaning in his raps than back then if you really listen.

Crooked I is dope, but Kurupt's delivery is much more raw and I can't sit there listening to Crooked I all day like I could with Kurupt.

So if Crooked had Steve Urkel's voice you would still bump it?

My vote goes to Kurupt.  Crooked is a monster lyrically but I get bored with his music faster than Kurupts.  I think Kurupt has or had the overall package.  It's also tough to call because Crooked hasn't released an album.  This will be the test because these songs are supposed to be more structured as opposed to mixtapes where you can just do whatever you want.

Hard to say. Kurupt in his prime was untouchable to me. If you could take qualities from the east and west and make 1 rapper to me that rapper is Kurupt when he was at his apex. Kurupt now is still doper than alot of other artists but for now few can get with Crooked on the mic.

Because the question is who IS the better rapper, I'm going with Crooked. Since 2001, Kurupt has released albums, but they are about as relevent as what Crooked is doing. Crooked though has got the edge on strength of his Hip-Hop Weekly. Now it has to lead to an album, CROOKED NEEDS AN ALBUM. Without on, his the biggest dissappointment in the west. And it will take at least 2 classic albums, and I mean AT LEAST, for it to be Crooked>>Kurupt.

I agree, Kurupt in his prime was at top 10 MC, but not just based on skills, the work he put out during that period stands for itself.
