Lakers deserve a lot of credit for this, because there has never been a year where its been harder to finish first than this year. 

The Warriors won't even make the playoffs this year, yet in a normal year they would be championship contenders.

LOL at what?  The Warriors totally embarrassed the mavs last year in the playoffs, and now this year they won even more games.  And Barren Davis has a good beard.

LOL at everything. Just because the teams are tighter together, doesn't make them any better. There have been plenty of years in which it was much harder to finish first. And the Warriors are a very flawed team.

The Warriors lucked out with the Mavs...they'd get smashed on by any of the current top teams in the west in a 7 game playoff series.
